  1. If I cannot find the information I need on reorganization in this guide, what should I do?
  1. You can always contact the Provost’s Office (McClain Hall 203) or send an email to provost@truman.edu.  The Deans and Department Chairs are also good sources of information.

 

  1. How do I contact a particular person in Academic Affairs in the new Academic Affairs administrative structure?
  1. A “conversion” list of all faculty and staff in Academic Affairs that shows their former contact information alongside their new address, etc., can be found here.  The Truman web directory has been updated and will have new contact information.  There is also a “Quick Guide to Academic Office Locations” available.

 

  1. In addition to the reorganization, some departments have relocated to Barnett Hall.  How can I find out which departments are now in Barnett Hall and where the new department and faculty offices are located?
  1. The Departments of Justice Systems, Anthropology/Geography/Sociology, and Communication are now located in Barnett Hall.  The Departments of Nursing and Communication Disorders remain located in Barnett Hall.  The Quick Guide to Academic Office Locations provides the Department offices in Barnett.  The Conversion List contains the location of faculty by name.

 

  1. Who are the staff and administrators in the Provost’s Office, and what are their responsibilities?
  1. In addition to creating new departments, a College of Arts and Sciences, a School of Business and a School of Health Sciences and Education, the Provost’s Office (McClain Hall 203, formerly the VPAA Office) has undergone some reorganization.  You may view the academic organizational chart, along with a listing of the various responsibilities for each person in the Provost Office.
